Counselling can help you achieve positive change and improve your wellbeing. With personalised counselling services, a qualified counsellor offers tailored mental health support in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.

Hello, my name is Sue, and I’m a person-centred therapeutic counsellor and trained life coach based in Wrexham, North Wales.
I counsel because I’ve seen the difference it can make to people’s lives; it can have a meaningful and lasting impact on their wellbeing. I’m passionate about providing mental health support to adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or life changes, offering understanding and support as they navigate through challenges.
I use a person-centred, integrative approach, which means you decide what we discuss in each session. I create a safe, calm, and accepting space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your experiences, and develop ways to cope and move forward at your own pace.
I offer face-to-face, telephone, and online sessions in Wrexham, along with free introductory phone sessions with no obligation, allowing you to see if my life coaching services feel right for you.
“When someone really hears you without passing judgement, without trying to take responsibility for you, without trying to mould you, it feels damn good.” Carl Rogers
I provide mental health support to adults dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, and family difficulties. In addition to personalised counselling, I also offer life coaching services to help you set meaningful goals and build on your strengths.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK. I provide personalised counselling and life coaching services while adhering to the ethical framework they have established to protect both clients and counsellors, ensuring that I offer effective mental health support.

There are many reasons you might be considering speaking with a counsellor for mental health support. You may be feeling stuck, lost, overwhelmed, anxious, alone, or low in mood. These feelings can arise from significant life events, loss, health challenges, trauma, or simply the ongoing pressures of everyday life.
Whatever your situation, it’s important to remember that everyone’s experience is unique. A counsellor can provide personalised counselling and one-to-one support tailored specifically to you, offering a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
Counselling can help in many ways, including:
- Processing difficult feelings or trauma
- Understanding emotional neglect
- Breaking unhelpful patterns
- Developing greater self-awareness
- Navigating challenging relationships
- Adjusting to major life changes
- Boosting self-esteem and confidence
- Coping with grief and loss
Additionally, if you're looking for life coaching services, these can further enhance your journey towards mental well-being.

I provide personalised counselling in a warm, confidential, and non-judgemental space. My approach is person-centred, meaning I focus on understanding you and supporting you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.
In addition to personalised counselling, I also offer life coaching services. As a trained life coach, I can help you not only process challenges but also recognise your strengths, set achievable goals, and work towards positive change, all while providing essential mental health support.
I offer 50-minute counselling sessions aimed at providing mental health support, available face-to-face in the Wrexham area, online through secure video call, or over the phone. You can also take advantage of a free introductory phone session with no obligation, allowing you to determine if my personalised counselling services are the right fit for you.
Sessions can be tailored to be either short- or long-term based on your individual needs, and we will regularly review your progress to ensure you are receiving the support necessary for your journey.
After the free introductory session, each subsequent session costs £45. If you would like to learn more about my life coaching services or arrange an appointment, please feel free to reach out at 07500 529 683 or via email at sedwardsakad@gmail.com.
